    Hello guys,

If you do not have ISRC/UPC codes, you simply have to select the option specifying that you don't. Then, if you do submit your tracks to our Jamendo Licensing program, and if they are accepted by our moderators, we would be generating those codes for you. We only generate them if the tracks end up being accepted into Jamendo Licensing.

ISRC & UPC codes are particularly important when it comes to tracking commercial uses of your tracks, hence the fact that we do not generate them straight away.

By the way, if you encounter some difficulties to update your track information, make sure to first answer & save the answers related to the ISRC & UPC questions. When those answers are saved, you should be able to save all the other track information.

    I hope that helps!

    Thanks, Valentin.

And tracks already in the Licensing program won't get an ISRC/UPC code?

    Hi t.drexl

    Right now, no. Eventually, yes.

Before retroactively generating ISRC & UPC codes for the tracks that were already in Licensing, we'll first need to have a proper communication strategy with the community, to make sure that as many artists as possible go back to edit the ISRC & UPC questions for old tracks. We do not want to generate those codes by mistake for tracks that already have some through third-party companies. For example, all the tracks that are already being distributed on the major streaming platforms already have ISRCs, though we may not know them.

I'm not (yet) sure of the timeframe for this though!
